To sum up the results of 2012-2013 football season trainees and trainers of football school for children and young people, and also administrative authority of “KHARTSYZSK PIPE” gathered on the 29th of May near the palace of culture. More than 100 matches played, 150 headed goals, winning places at seven prestigious competitions, including 2 gold medals at the recent tournament in Dneprodzerzhinsk – these are football season results of “KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT” football school for children and young people. As of today 170 Khartsyzsk boys study at school under the leadership of experienced trainers.
On the eve of International Children’s Day representatives of PJSC “KHARTSYZSK PIPE” congratulated young football players with successful completion of another football season. Pavel Uzbek, Acting Director General of PJSC “KHARTSYZSK PIPE”, presented to senior coach of the school laptop computer, whereby trainees will be able to look through and analyze their proper game, and also game of their competitors, during theoretical practices. And team-holders of crystal goblets, who won the Annual All Ukrainian Football Tournament in memoriam of B.M. Ulyanov in Dzergynsk, were presented with sport-packs with logotype of Football Club Shakhtar Donetsk.
“Dear children, on behalf of Khartsyzsk pipe plant, Metinvest Company and on my own behalf, I’d like to congratulate you on such a perfect season finale. FC Shakhtar Donetsk this year made a gold double. Good on you not to leave off, you have also a gold double - two of our teams became the winners of the prestigious tournament. I'm sure all of you are waiting for a great future because you learned how to win and, most importantly, win as a team. We are proud of you and we wish you new victories,” - such warm words were pronounced to trainees of Football School for Children and Young People by Pavel Uzbek, Acting Director General.

They spend a lot of time practicing, they have a great desire to play, and they really love football, - Vladimir Tumanovskii, Senior Coach of Football School for Children and Young People, mentioned. - The coaching staff we have is strong and we aim to raise the ranked players who will play in the future in the leading football clubs”.

PUBLIC JOINT STOCK COMPANY “KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT” is one of the largest enterprises in the CIS manufacturing longitudinal SAW large diameter pipes (508-1422 mm in diameter) with external anticorrosion and internal anticorrosion or flow coating for main oil and gas pipelines. Plant’s facilities permit to manufacture 1.3 mln. tons of pipes per year, including about 700 thous. tons of coated pipes.
The integrated Management System ensuring stable high quality of the products to the customers is functioning at “Khartsyzsk PIPE PLANT”. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, API Spec Q1, DSTU ISO 9001, GOST R ISO 9001, STO Gazprom 9001 create its foundation. Products of the plant are certified according to API, EN standards and in the national system UkrSEPRO. Welding processes are certified as per ISO 3834-2.
2011 became the record year for “KHARTSYZSK PIPE” over the last 20 years for all production performance. More than 630 thous. tons of large diameter pipes were produced in January-December, 2011.
“KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT” became the first company among Ukrainian enterprises of Metinvest Group which started to implement “Lean enterprise” program in September, 2010 and obtained tangible results.
Priority directions of social policy of PJSC “KHARTSYZSK PIPE” as forming enterprise are implementation of social programs and activities in the areas of education, health, improving urban infrastructure. In 2011, the amount of social investments companies totaled more than 1.3 million. UAH.
