KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT of Metinvest Group has successfully passed the annual supervisory audit for compliance with the requirements of PN-EN 10208-2:2011 IDT EN 10208-2:2009. EN 10208-2 standard specifies technical delivery conditions of steel seamless and welded pipes for onshore pipelines for combustible fluids according to the European requirements. Availability of the certificate affords an opportunity for "KHARTSYZSK PIPE” to supply products to the countries of the European Union.
The certificate is valid for three years, however, to confirm the compliance of products with the European standards the annual audits are to be carried out at "KHARTSYZSK PIPE” by the auditors who check fulfilling all requirements of EN 10208-2. The auditor checked the Quality management system, production process of pipes manufacture as well as manufacture and testing of specimens taken from the finished products.
No nonconformities have been found during the audit. Based on the positive results of the annual supervisory audit and conducted tests, the following conclusion was made - products of KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT and Quality policy fully comply with all stated requirements and norms. The auditor gave recommendations to the plant concerning issue of the quality certificate for products supplied as per EN 10208-2 standard.
