Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant of Metinvest Group successfully passed the re-certification audit of Management System and confirmed the high rate and perfect condition of the integrated Management System of KHARZYZSK PIPE on conformity with standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards. None non-conformities were found during the audit.
Audit objective was to verify and to confirm that the integrated Management System and procedures which are connected with it meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 (Quality management systems), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental management systems) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) standards.
The audit team leader was Ken McCuaig, auditor of Canada Quality Institute. Auditors made a thorough examination of provide documentation and controlled the operation of the integrated Management System in practice. In accordance with the results of audit, Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant was issued a positive opinion about the conformity of current Quality management system, Environmental management system and Occupational Health and Safety management system to international ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.
The audit found that the Quality management system of Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant meets the requirements. Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant administrates customer perception on customizability through the quarterly report generation. To improve the Management system the acquired information is analyzed. Mill Environmental management system introduces and supports procedures to identify, evaluate and supervise ecological aspects, Health and Safety Management System introduces and supports procedures to identify hazards and to evaluate the importance of risks’ impact to employees in every workplace. Occupational Health and Safety Management System at KHARZYZSK PIPE meets the standard requirements that are stated in preparing for emergency situations and responsibility on them.
Auditors made conclusion that Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant puts into effect effective processes on steady improvement of Management system through the using of politic, objectives, results of audit, data analyses, corrective and preventive actions and management review.
Iurii Zinchenko, General Director of KHARZYZSK PIPE, discusses that “The Management System of KHARZYZSK PIPE displays effective coordination and perfection of operational procedures and processes.
