The inspection on fire safety which took place at the enterprise in the period from the 26th of September to the 26th of October this year was summed up at Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant, a part of Metinvest Group. The winners of the inspection received cash prizes. The prize fund of activities amounted to approximately 35 thousand UAH.
The enterprises of Metinvest Group annually implement a set of measures aimed at improving fire safety and job conditions. In addition to various kinds of briefings, staff training and monitoring the safe performance of work at Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant the inspection on fire safety annually takes place. The purpose of the event is raising the level of preventative work on fire safety in the units of the plant. The winners of the inspection are the units of the plant, scored the highest points on the following indicators in 2011: preventive work done on fire safety by workshop fire-technical Commission and volunteer fire brigades, equipment technical means of fire protection. As a result of the inspection the first place in a general test was taken by a power workshop, second one - by a pipe welding workshop №4, third - by a department of ware-house economy and logistic. To attract more employees within the inspection two competitions were conducted: the "Best quatrain" and the "Best placard on fire safety" on a theme “Practical Methods of Fire Protection". The best works will be used for visualization of work places. In general the plant committee received for the consideration more than forty works.
