Transport equipment modernization was performed at the area of pipes feeding into production at the Pipe Welding Shop No 4 of KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT. The old type dragover unit was replaced by the cross-axis transport. New equipment was put into operation at the beginning of September. The personnel of the shop plans to carry out the maintenance inspection two times per shift as well as eliminate occurred failures in due time to ensure long and uninterrupted operation of the cross-axis transport. Its failure-free operation guarantees absence of time consumption for repair which means reduction of the process time for products manufacture.
