Within the cooperation with the territorial community KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT which is a part of Metinvest Group allocated the grant amounting to 200 thous. UAH to the town general education school No 6 for performance of school repair works. The funds for school reconstruction arrived in the account of the institution at the end of May. Currently the aid of the company was used for 100 %. Within the Knowledge Day celebration the Director General of PJSC «KHARTSYZSK PIPE» Iurii Zinchenko has personally visited the “First Bell” in the general education school No 6 and congratulated its pupils with the beginning of the school year.
PJSC «KHARTSYZSK PIPE» together with town authorities took care of pupils and school teachers’ coziness and comfort during the whole school year. For this purpose the basic repair of the school building was performed at the general education school No 6 in the period of summer holidays. Using the funds transferred by KHARTSYZSK PIPE all old window frames were replaced with metal-plastic ones with energy-saving plastic constructions.
The choice of the institution is not occasional: the general education school No 6 is located at the territory of the town adjacent to the plant and is one of the oldest schools of the town. Its development has been started in 1890. In 1940 a new comfortable building arose on the outdoor area in the schoolyard where the team of competent teachers meets their pupils to the present day. Iurii Zinchenko came personally to congratulate the pupils of the school with “a new home” and gave a speech to the children on the occasion of the beginning of the new school year.
“In the program “Local communities development” of Metinvest Group, education is one of the constituents of the corporate social responsibility of the Company”, Iurii Anatolievich made a comment. “It is the younger generation on which we put hopes in the future. Plant workers need worthy turnover of qualified specialists and, as you know, laying of a foundation of individual personal qualities starts from the school-days. And one never can tell, maybe new welders, coating operators and even managers of the plant study in this particular school”.

PUBLIC JOINT STOCK COMPANY «KHARTSYZSK PIPE PLANT» is the largest enterprise in CIS manufacturing longitudinal SAW large diameter pipes (508-1422 mm in diameter) with external anticorrosion and internal anticorrosion or flow coating for main oil and gas pipelines.
